Newcastle City Council

Newcastle City Council fund our Youth Work projects through their grants programme, and our obesity programmes through contracts to deliver these services.


LandAid is the property industry's charity, working all year round to help make our vision of ending youth homelessness in the UK a reality. 

ISOS Housing

ISOS is a social housing landlord with more than 12,000 homes in the North East.
They provide funding to engage and work with young people in a new housing area ISOS are building in Walker.

Barbour Foundation

The Barbour Foundation is the charitable grant making trust of the Barbour company. They provide us with a grant to support our youth work in Byker, Cowgate and Walker.


ASDAN is a curriculum development and awarding body organisation. They have a charitable fund that provided us with kitchen equipment for our training kitchen.

R.W.Mann Trust

The charitable trust was set up by Dr Mann and his wife in 1957. They have funded our youth work to bring together young people from Byker, Cowgate and Walker.

Christ Hospital in Sherburn

Founded by the Bishop of Durham in 1181. They provide hardship funding to families in crisis and a grant towards our youth work costs.

Heart Research UK

Heart Research UK is a grant making charity that helps people to live healthier, happier and longer. They have provided a grant to help us prevent heart disease in young people.

intu Eldon Square

Intu are the company behind Eldon Square. They are funding work to run activities for young shoppers and to train their staff to see the shopping centre through young peoples eyes.

Hadrian Trust

The Hadrian Trust have supported us with a grant to contribute towards our core running costs.

Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation

The charitable foundation was established by Bernard and Mary Sunley in 1960.
They have contributed funds to replace the roof on our Walker youth project.

Catherine Cookson Charitable Trust

The Catherine Cookson Charitable Trust have provided a grant towards our core costs.

Co-op Community Fund

The Co-op Community Fund is funded by members of the co-op donating their share of the companies profits. They provided a grant to contribute towards the cost of taking 12 young people sailing on a tall ship for a week.

David Dockray West End Fund

David Dockray set up the West End Boys Club in 1947. This fund was set up from the proceeds of it's sale. They have funded youth work activities in Cowgate.

Newcastle University Students Union Green Fund

The Students Union Green Fund has supported us to enable young people to get involved in an environmental project in Byker to turn neglected green space into fruit and berry bushes.

St Hilda's Trust

St Hilda's Trust is a North East based trust that makes grants to improve social welfare.
They provided a grant to take young people away on a residential trip.

WA Handley

The trust was stablished by Wilfred Handley in 1963 to support the welfare of those who are disadvantaged.
They have provided a grant towards our core costs.

Starbucks Foundation

The Starbucks Foundation is the charitable foundation of The Starbucks Company.
They have provided a grant to run performing arts activities in Space2...

St Nicholas' Educational Trust

St Nicholas' Educational Trust was established in 1847 to enable "poor children to obtain a good education in order that they may earn an honest living".
The trust provides a grant to support our Alternative Education programme for young people excluded from school.


Homed is a student society at Newcastle University that promotes issues relating to homelessness.
The raise funds to support our homelessness prevention work by sleeping rough on night each year.

Virgin Money Foundation

Virgin Money Foundation focuses in helping people and organisations that support 
areas in need. The Foundation has £8 million of committed funding for charitable projects.
